Use of Video in Out of Home: Schoonenberg shows The Cube on outdoor screens

For their brand awareness campaign, the hearing specialist used Sage+Archer’s Cube HTML5-built format showing their tv commercial in a smart way on digital outdoor screens.

Schoonenberg comes with a new video awareness campaign on digital out of home screens

Back in 2021, Schoonenberg introduced a localized Digital Out of Home campaign. This campaign successfully used the Sage+Archer platform to reach audiences across the Netherlands around their stores more efficiently through standard and custom triggers.

Now in 2022 Schoonenberg is back with an awareness campaign to make the public mindful of Schoonenberg’s unique selling proposition (USPs) demonstrated in high-value production videos for tv and online. To increase the campaign recognition, the brand and its agency Yonego were keen to reach consumers with those videos through as many channels as possible. That is why, for this new campaign, it used the Cube format for the outdoor advertisement.

The Cube on Digital Out of Home shows video content and call-to-action in one go

The Cube on Digital Out of Home is an HTML5-built creative containing an animated 3D cube that rotates between 2-3 sides. Using such a versatile form of promotion allows marketers to include both emotional and cantonal aspects of the campaign, something that brands struggle to demonstrate.  This ideal combination of emotional and functional brand content supports branded video and promotions, and most importantly, increases brand awareness.

In order for Schoonenberg to use USPs to their best advantage and make their business stand out within their market, they used the Cube structure effectively. The ad related the company’s video content to a call to action. Using this technique for the campaign is the best of both worlds and tells a progressive story about the brand from both content types.
