Schoonenberg triggers a localised DOOH campaign based on real-time appointment availability

Integrating a Channable API, the Dutch hearing specialist ran a programmatic outdoor campaign with dynamic creative showing a localised DOOH campaign in targeted areas, at the most relevant times.

Driving awareness with localised dynamic creative

Schoonenberg is a hearing specialist with a network of service providers in the Netherlands. Its main objective for this campaign was to drive brand awareness, but also direct response among consumers to visit one of the service locations for a hearing test. 

Schoonenberg and its media agency Yonego came up with a dynamic Digital Out of Home campaign:

  • Hyper-local targeting: Ensure the campaign is targeted and delivered only on outdoor screens close to nearby services locations of Schoonenberg. 
  • Data triggered: Activating the campaign only when there was booking availability for the execution of hearing tests in the local or nearest location.
  • Dynamic creatives: Automatically displaying the closest Schoonenberg service location in the creative

Sage+Archer tools and custom triggers target audiences more efficiently

The team used the Sage+Archer platform that is centered around targeting digital screens based on specific locations and at selected times. It used standard and custom triggers to reach audiences across the Netherlands more efficiently.

With S+A’s POI-generator they also easily created a custom targeted list of all potential digital screens within a 1.5 KM radius of participating service locations. The campaign connected to a Channable API that centralised the appointment availability of every participating store into a feed. This feed activated the campaign to be on or off at the right location at the right time, and was also maximised to feed the dynamic creative, displaying the nearest service location in the ad messaging. The client was supported by the Sage+Archer Creative Studio, taking full advantage of programmatic DOOH, with data, technology and creative capabilities
