Overview
Sage and Archer are a leading European DSP, specialising in location based, mobile and out of home (OOH) programmatic advertising. Born in the Netherlands, operating across Europe and newly acquired by Vistar Media in the US, this is a unique opportunity to lead the business forward. As we build our UK team, we are looking for a Sales Manager to continue our business development and revenue growth within agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow DSP revenue in the UK market, through self and managed service partnerships across media agencies and brands
- Drive uptake of the platform and engagement from buyers of digital advertising and programmatic traders, and ensure seamless ability to transact
- Identify incremental opportunities with independent trading desks, brands and boutique agencies who may be new to OOH, as well as traditional OOH buyers
- Negotiate media and platform agreements, ensuring their successful execution, fulfilment and growth
- Provide training and support on the digital OOH industry and trading model, ensuring the media model and metrics are understood, and OOH can be easily incorporated into digital deals
- Develop strong industry networks and represent the company as required in-market and at events

- Autonomous, able to drive the development of new business and sales engagement independently
- Agility to respond to differing sales and support needs and requests, business models and client profiles
- Tenacity to pursue and close contracts, and ensure their execution and uptake
- Calm under pressure, and patient in communicating with people of all backgrounds
- Confident in presenting technical, product and commercial solutions
Experience
- Excellent understanding of digital advertising technology and trading; programmatic, mobile, audio, data, currency tracking and attribution
- Extensive experience of solutions sales in digital advertising and proven track record of building a business from scratch, growth and retention
- Demonstrable knowledge of OOH media and advertising, and a network of contacts across the industry
- Proven ability to build client relationships at all levels of seniority, demonstrating retention and growth strategies
- Experience in negotiating contracts and trading agreements, and ensuring fulfillment of these deals
