Greetz – using mobile data to spot hight traffic places during a pandemic

Greetz has for a long time been the easiest way to send something nice and attentive to the ones you love. During the pandemic Greetz was an even better alternative to stay connected to your loved ones and the ultimate way of social distancing but being social engaged with your loved ones.

Mobile data to spot busy places

Normally the amount of people passing a certain screen at a certain time is pretty static. Peoples behaviour does not change every week. With the Covid crisis this all changed. All of a sudden the amount of people on certain locations fluctuated massively. As guidelines by the government changed week over week and peoples behaviour accordingly.

For Greetz S+A used mobile data to determine which spots were busy enough to buy ads on. This way Greetz could still run a great DOOH campaign dynamically adjusting the places it bought OOH ads based on the mobile location data.
