Overview
Sage and Archer are a leading European DSP, specialist in location based, mobile and out of home (OOH) programmatic advertising. Born in the Netherlands, operating across Europe and preparing to launch in the DACH region, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the launch.
Reporting into HQ in Amsterdam the DACH Business Development Director will be the first employee in market, establishing and growing the DACH business.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch the DSP in the German market, including sales, marketing and negotiation of contracts with major digital agencies and trading desks
- Drive uptake of the platform from buyers of digital advertising and data, and ensure seamless ability to transact across OOH
- Identify incremental opportunities with independent trading desks, brands and boutique agencies who may be new to OOH, as well as traditional OOH buyers
- Negotiate platform and trading agreements, ensuring their successful execution and fulfilment
- Build relationships with major media owners to help build scale, drive revenue and commercial opportunity
- Provide training and support on the digital OOH industry and opportunity, ensuring the media model and metrics are understood, and OOH can be easily incorporated into digital deals
- Identify and build data partnerships, and other ancillary relationships
Develop strong industry networks and represent the company as required in-market and at events

Experience
- Excellent understanding of digital advertising technology and trading; programmatic, mobile, audio, data, currency tracking and attribution
- Extensive experience of solutions sales in digital advertising and proven track record of building a business from scratch
- Demonstrable knowledge of OOH media and advertising, and a network of contacts across the industry
- Proven ability to build client relationships at all levels of seniority, demonstrating retention and growth strategies
- Experience in negotiating contracts and trading agreements, and ensuring fulfillment of these deals
- Leadership and management, representing the business externally, hiring and developing teams
