Auto.nl is a website selling and leasing out cars. With a campaign in public transportation they offered travellers the opportunity to avoid taking the train. You could, within minutes, buy a car whilst waiting for that train to arrive. Right there on the touchscreen.
Corona and used cars
Since Corona pandemic there is a huge increase in used car sales on auto.nl. Although all the limitations on public transport have been lifted, auto.nl has yet to see a decline in sales numbers. People are actively avoiding public transportation it seems. With this insight auto.nl wanted to take this trend a step further by offering the passenger that are still in the train the opportunity of getting into a car.
With the help of 24AM within 5 days a mini funnel was created that functioned completely on a digital screen on the Rembrandtplein in the heart of Amsterdam. This way it made it possible for a consumer to fully finish the buying proces within minutes on a digital screen.
